“First Prize” at the Gabriel Fauré Competition, “Second” at the Marguerite Long Competition, “First nomination” at the Geneva Competition, “First Prize” at the Montreal Competition, Jean-Claude PENNETIER is currently guest soloist in France and abroad with internationally renowned orchestras : Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, Orchestre National Bordeaux-Aquitaine, Staatskapelle Dresden, Tokyo NHK… He is also invited to the Festivals at La Roque d’Anthéron, Prades, Musicades de Lyon, Seattle, Naantali, Kuhmo, the “Moscow Nights”, and to other prestigious events.
Jean-Claude PENNETIER’s recordings for Disques Lyrinx of the works of BRAHMS, SCHUMANN, DEBUSSY and BEETHOVEN were received with the highest distinctions by the musical press.
His recording dedicated to SCHUBERT has been awarded the “Grand Prix” de l’Académie Charles Cros.
